BigRydizzel Posted November 21, 2012 Report Posted November 21, 2012 So I have a FI BTL fully loaded dual 2 ohm. I'm also equipped with the big 3 and 3 yellow top optimas. One under the hood and 2 in the trunk. I have the sub wired to one ohm. And I'm torn between both these amps. Same brand so it's not a verse thread. I was just wondering if the 3500 is to much for this sub? When I first got the sub I had it hooked up to a rockford fosgate 1500.1bd and it pushed it pretty dam good for 1700 watts or so. I know that these subs RMS is 2000 watts and I was impressed on what the rockford did with it. But I know this sub can do more and I want to put it to its full potential. Also its in a 7 cubic ported box tuned to 32 or 30 hz. I'm asking all this is cause crescendo is having a black friday sale for the 2000d right now and wondering if that would be enough?
