First I want to say thanks to everyone who is taking the time to read what I'm about to say tonight... lol. Y'all Comfortable? Okay here I go...

Im not a Car Audio Pro, but every now and then i dab into the hobby with my own system. It's no where near clean as everyone setup maybe here in comparison but work with me.

I have a "Plethora" of Amps and Speakers that I'm not so sure on keeping.

Heres the Run Down:

Speakers & Tweeters

2 - Audiopipe APMB 6DC

2 - Audiopipe APMB 6800

4 - Audiopipe ATX-3720

2 - Pyle DryverPRO PDBT48

Amps

1 - Hifonics BRUTUS 25th ann. BXi 1208 Super D Mono 1200 Watts

2 - Hifonics BRUTIS 25th ann. ZXi 1008 500 Watt X 2 Amps

1 - SSL (Sound Storm Labs) AERO AE120M 2000W Monoblock

1 - Nitro BMW X-43 300W Audio Amp

Crossover

1 - Clarion MCD360

Line Driver

1 - Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty Line Driver

Equalizer

1 - Clarion EQS746 - 7 Band Graphic Equalizer

Radio

1 - Pioneer DEH-3400UB

Battery:

1 - Kinetik Racing KR3112 Battery.

Isolator

1- PAC 200 battery Isolater

Subs

2 - 12" SSL SLR12D Subs "2500 watts" -____- (yeah right face lol) They do sound good but I know they not really rated that high, but who knows. Both are inside a ported Box.

I would like to know if you Guys think this system alone would suffice or do i need to invest more money into buying either more amps or speakers or just give up while I'm ahead?

I used to have a 1990 Grand Marquis but It died on me while in traffic. (Too much power of course but the SSL Amp wasn't installed at the time). I received the Hifonics Mono amp out of "Pitty" lmfao.

But it all sounded great, It just clips and blow tweeters on occasion.

Your expertise is greatly appreciated and desperately needed. I'm in pursuant of purchasing a Z71 Tahoe or Yukon Denali myself.

Please tell me where am I Going wrong? I have a feeling that being a sad case that I am, I humor myself in my endeavors. I need your help!

Thank you for reading my possibly Will & Testament of Car Audio lol

Much Love,

The Kid Raphie

Are you happy with it? If you are, then no you don't need more. If not, then you need more. Like many things in life, music and bass is all preference. We can't tell you what you need to do, you have your own preferences, goals, tastes, and your own setup in your own car.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

id sell it all and start over

Thats what my neighbor said. But he's a Base head. Both Drugs and Music wise. He turned his Chevy Venture into a giant Bazooka of bass...

You right. Well no denomination, but from Bedstuy Brooklyn, alot of the peoples that i converse with either have Hifonics (Cant go wrong with them, both old and new), Rockford Fosgate, Audiobahn (the 90's build), or AudioPipe. But to answer your question it does sound decent. But where the problem lies is I've been taking the wrong advice from people who claim they know the "Right way" to build systems. I know I need to purchase the DD1 and the CC1 for calibration to stop the clipping and blowing (pause). But I guess the direction im going is i want it loud and clear.

If you want something different, then there are a million brands on the forum most users who buy mainstream equipment will never know.

With Black Friday you could join the FI/AA train and find yourself in a completely new world of bass.

Yes it is.

I Altered my real name to "The Kid Raphie" But the other info is legit.

As for the Rolex I found it in a cab a couple of years ago. It had mild scratches and I've taken to a reputable jeweler. The gentlemen told me it appears to be real and to hang on to it. If its a replica then its a replica if its real I guess I'm Lucky. Im not much of a watch man myself. I have that one, an Swiss Army Watch, a Fossil, and King Master. All sit inside of a junk drawer. lol

Sounds Good. I used to have a friend Name Steve who recently moved to Seattle. he was a Pure Bass head. When i had my '95 Maxima he hooked up a Pyle Dryver Amp to 2 12" subs (I don't remember the name) and it cracked my rear window. But I like Crisp clean mids and highs to go with it. I guess to clarify my question is should i keep the Hifonics and should just go the easy way out as Get 4 10's install the 2 Bullet Tweeters and call it a night? or utilize what i have and probably install a second alternator and just hook everything up and have each pair of speakers to their desired amp?
