ok so my hu rca,s are 2.5 volts, which is gain about 3/4 of the way over it goes from 9-0.2 and 2.5 is about 3/4

Try the link from the toolsmap it´s much easyier and safer, than any other option´s.

No it more like 66% not 75%

Just because your RCA's put out 2.5 volts doesn't mean the signal is clean.

But if you don't have a way to check (oscope or DD-1) then turn your head unit 3/4 of the way up and match your gain to that voltage.

I don't know it could keep on going for years or it could go it in a few weeks

Its like when poelpe use drugs some live a long life some don't
