I've lost on a higher score. 151.5 legal bassrace and 154'5 outlaw streetbeat. My SQ car will pull a 49.5 legal too I think anyone that hasn't messed with that many subs really under estimates how much more work it takes to get loud then a smaller system. I have and madd props to anyone crazy enough to load that many subs in one box. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. So I'm thinking, play some "late night tip" or some shit like that. Well anyways, I sat in the Hummer while he played it. Sunroof in, passenger door shut, driver door open, sitting in the middle of the cab. I wasn't expecting much, since this is an 80's pop song. Well there are three bass notes. They go from 60Hz, 50Hz, down to 40Hz (just estimates on the Freq). The first note was very "punchy" and extremely responsive. This note did a little damage to me. It close something up so I couldn't swallow. Very weird feeling. The next note, even more violent, made me feel a little nauseated every so slightly. I was a little shocked honestly. Then the third note played, I really wasn't expecting that. I became light headed instantly and the note made me cough. So I get out after two rounds of this bass line. I felt "numb" and disoriented, trying to stand up straight was a challenge. My body wanted to slightly lean. lol Anyways, I'm trying to describe what it feels like to sit in a vehicle of this caliber. This is the same feeling I get when I sat in Meade's Tahoe for the first time after the Fi/4K build. We all know these builds are far and few between. So, if you ever have the opportunity to sit in a vehicle like this, I'd recommend you do it. If anyone remembers Ray's other loud build here (Ignore the Fat Ass in the drivers seat): I remember driving this car to shows and not being as violent as the Hummer. I might have "forgotten" how loud build like this are. But I don't recall the "XXX Truck" making me feel like the Hummer made me feel. EricR Posted July 5, 2008 Report Posted July 5, 2008 With that setup around 54.5ish on dash And yeh....im down about 1.5ish from kick to dash...its not the same but its the only org i have down here so thats all i meter in who gives a flying shit what you meter or what you have. go make a thread about it and quit thread jacking. if you don't like the shit posted in a thread....don't post there. to the OP......nice shit Ray....very nice i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
