To us the 5/32 staples you need a special stapler or are most of you guys using the staplers that go down to 1/4? 22g or 18g

I use hot glue, makes it so much easier, you can get everything to stick exactly where you want without the damn staples not going through and stuff on these thick plastics

it did when I did it, you just put hot glue on the plastic, like 4-6 inches at a time, pull it tight over it, and hold it till it dries in like 20 seconds or so, and it holds really nice, you go through a lot of hot glue, but I had mini sticks, staples are probably the best, but hot glue works great in my opinion, the more you work with it and figure out where to glue and stuff the better you get at it :P if you work with fleece to stretch over it, then it holds awesome, I ripped up some stuff that I didn't put in the right spot and it was on there hella tight, hard to rip off, glue works good for when you design the braces with wood too, just glue the dowels and the speaker rings where you want, then fleece over

My doors I did

Thanks for the info.

yea, just be careful if you are fleecing over the whole door, it can get to thick in some parts and make it so the door doesnt fit, I put like 10-15 hours just sanding and fitting the doors so they would close cause of this :/, better to only fiberglass over the parts that are custom that you want

Yes this will be the first time doing doors. Only fiberglass I have ever done was patching some motorcycle fairings. And since it was a track bike I didnt care how shitty it looked.

Well Good luck, ask questions if you need, I have only done 1 set of doors, you learn so much on your first time, and every time after too, here are the 2 best guides I have found on the net for fiberglassing, they helped me a ton

http://www.j-body.or...i=74970&t=74970

http://www.yourcusto...oor-panels.html

they will teach you a lot of tricks and things, they took me a long time to find on the internet searching through all tons of crap :D

Fleece works good if your doing boxes, but if I did doors again I would use a thinner material that stretches easy, cause the fleece gets thick and sucks a lot of resin, and if you had thinner material you could get the details to work out much easier
