So let me start with the 360 from last night. It's a little out of order but I want to address this separately. I'm very happy with how this came out.

The first idea was to cover the body with the black carbon fiber. Then I was going to cover the logo with the orange carbon fiber.

My original plan was to try and just rotate the R. So for kicks and grins I think I'll give that a shot.

Little love with the heat gun, and touched it with my finger and it moved quite easily.

Then a little finesse with the knife, not the sharp side.

And done!

Just some two sided tape.

Got the body covered up and it looks real good I think. I'm very happy with it.

And then after trying the orange carbon fiber vinyl about 4 times, and it not working, I decided to hell with it and just painted it orange.

I think it goes very well. I'm still trying to get more labels made up like the amp that says 3sixty.3 in the same font, and about a half inch tall. I think it will really set it off. The other thing I want to do, is get the LED changed out on it. It's a blue led for on, and then white for other stuff (set up I think) and then red for other issues. But I believe it's mainly blue. Well I'd like to change that blue to orange. Then we'd really be in business! So that's it for this for now. I'll update it when I get more added.

So yesterday I decided to completely commit to getting some serious work done. So I parked the ride in the back yard and decided to take the truck to work all week. This will allow me to put in work daily when I get home, and not have to put things back together when i'm done so I can drive to work the next day.

Now before I put the sub baffle in, because it's not going to get a trim piece for a while, I decided I didn't want to just look at raw wood until that happens. SO I decided to paint it black. It'll be much easier on the eyes.

Next it was time to address this empty trunk!

First the amp rack. This thing is HEAVY now. When it was just a couple layers of wood and fiberglass, it wasn't so bad.

Next comes the floor. I'm wishing now I'd have brought the back parts out to the other part, but I'm not going back now. I'll still be doing a false floor, so that should cover most of it.

Next comes the enclosure. Body first.

Ohhh that looks so nice to me.

Port time. I bought some lock washers to space out the screw heads. Recall they were too sunk in. The washers fixed that right up.

View from the back window under the trunk lid. I need to get the back window re tinted. But I decided to wait until this was done because I have no doubt I'd have gotten it done, and then scratched it up. So I waited.

Then I put the floor in. So how this works, floor in, sealed up enclosure functional.

A few screws, and BAM, amp access!! WOOT!

Ok next step was to get the battery racks worked on. Before I had some drywall screws I put in and then cut off the ends outside. Well that wasn't good enough for me.

So I put some 10-32 inserts in there

And used some flush mount 10-32 screws to mount the brackets with. Much better looking IMO. No they're not going to be seen, but that doesn't really matter does it.

Ok one side done. This is the driver side.

Next is to get them installed in the trunk. Need to make a few brackets to keep them in place, and also a couple of brackets to keep the batteries in when they're installed. I'll work on that tomorrow.

So that's what I've done the last two days. Hopefully much more can get done tomorrow. Still planning on it playing by the weekend. I'm hoping anyway, unless something special happens, and then it may be a few more days than that. But I'm ok with all that. It'l be well worth it for me.

Oh yes, when I get them installed they'll come off. They're just easier to carry with them on right now.

Sweet that you figured the logo out. So you're running around 8kw or so on 6 xp950s, 1 D4700 up front, and what alt? I'm just curious. I'm wanting to run that kinda power and wanna have an idea of what I can power it with.

Yes FULLLLLLLL effect!!

2 3500's and 2 1100's. Ive got a so get 180 amp alt. I may be adding 2 more 950's too. It depends on how things act when I get up and playing.

Ive had several conversation s with mike singer and he thinks ill be ok. For sure should be fine with 8 950's. So we'll see after AR.
