scooter99
Ok so a couple of things are changing. Just to keep everyone in the loop! Obviously I already announced the purchase of the Pioneer DEH-X9500BHS. So that's the first change. The second is this. I decided to nix the idea of putting the 15 in the trunk. I've decided that a DC M2 XL12 will do the trick in a 4th order. I have BHE designing one for me right now. Have a deal in the works for the sub, and a Kenwood DNX5140, which I don't really need so I'll put that up for sale for the cash. That should be here by the end of next week. Everything else stays the same. So that's it. I'm going to see about covering the dash kit tonight and then the tablet should be done. I'll see what I can do about finishing it tonight. Feel free to comment. Let's hear it! Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build

scooter99
Ok so another quick update! The trade fell through. Just wasn't meant to be. Anyway, another deal, actually a payment plan, is in the works and should be complete soon. So, now I have a decision to make! Remember what we're working with! 2 XS Power D6500's in back, Probably like a D5100 up front, Singer 270amp alt (which is supposed to be shipped today). Sub amp is a Crescendo bc3500d. Now, I was looking at a DC Audio Level 5 D1 M2 12, Corona Jeff is selling it. I can either do that on a .5 ohm load. Or go to a new DC XL12 M2 fully loaded for less. Do I get a D1 for .5 ohm load, or a D1.4 for a .7 ohm load? Which ever I get is going into a 4th order enclosure. Discuss! Let's hear it! And be realistic guys! No Level 5 on 2 5500's or any shit like that. Be real. This is what I have for power, I just need to decide on the sub. Blue
Xl 12 will be more than enough man. I would do the dual 2s to wire at 1. Why stress your electrical if you don't have to. My personal opinion though. formerly known as Blue86f150 its a 4th order just because its tuned in the 40z doesnt mean it wont reach down and jiggle your balls at sub 30 hz frequencies. Regardless if they were dipped platinum and were stuffed in Beyonce's twat.....way too fucking exspensive this sux camel dicks
scooter99
Good point on both accounts. I'm not sure I'll ever compete so 1ohm should be fine. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
scooter99
Little update on the fan cooling system. I got project boxes tonight, and I'll just make my own fuse holders. But I can't figure out what kind of diode to use for the relay. Once I get that figured out, I'll be ready to finalize it! That is all! And I am going to go with a DC XL D2 Fully loaded! Run it at a 1ohm load, in a 4th order, off the bc3500d. Should get down pretty well! Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
