scooter99 Posted June 5, 2013 Author Report Posted June 5, 2013 Ok here's what's up guys and gals (if there's any watching). So I've had to alter some plans this week. So you all know I've been working on a room in my house. Well my plan was to pound out a bunch of it this weekend, insulation, sheetrock, etc. HOWEVER, I've been looking at the weather, and it's looking like 108ish degree weather this weekend. HELLL NO i'm not working in that. So instead of working on the car this week, I've had to spend every nigh working on the room. I got all the walls and ceiling insulated Monday night. Last night I got the ceiling sheetrocked. Was going to do the walls tonight, but Home Depot called and my windows and door are in. So tonight I need to go pick those up and get them installed tonight. That way I can pull the vent cover and let the ac BLLLOOOOOWWWWWW! That's gonna make it nice to work in the next few days. Then tomorrow night I'll do the walls and maybe I'll get started with taping this weekend! Be nice to get that thing done soon. Next week, my parents leave for Hawaii! To no success I tried to get them to take my family with them. But instead I'm going to be staying there at their house, cause I'm going to be painting the house and then the following week I'll be building a small balcony deck. So my plate is full for the next week or so. So unfortunately, that means no pics or build time. I can take pics of the work I'm doing, but it's not part of this build. So maybe I should leave them out. I'll update again when I get a chance. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build

FieroGrande Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 Sick work man, I was jw if you could use like 3 clamps to hold the aluminium on the drill press. Place 2 horizontal and one vertical.
scooter99 Posted June 7, 2013 Author Report Posted June 7, 2013 I'm looking into a vise actually to put on it. I think it's called a cross slide vise. I can bolt that down to the press table. But otherwise, I'll have to come up with something else and that's an option for sure. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
scooter99 Posted June 18, 2013 Author Report Posted June 18, 2013 Sorry guys. Things have been super slow lately. I'm working on painting my parents house and building a deck for them as well. Also dealing with trying to get my sunroom do e as well. Things will get back up and running soon. Also, got a rock in the middle of my windshield the other day o. The way home. So that has spread to about a foot and a half long crack. So new windshield coming soon. Wish it was for bass reasons, but no such luck. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build

What the hell is going on with these smug bastards?! I want gas guzzler parking right up front so i dont have to circle the parking lot 40 times and ruin the enviroment.
scooter99 Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Posted July 2, 2013 Ok guys. So here's the latest. I finished my parents house. I won't bore you with those pics. Just painted their house, 3500 square foot two story house with 3 different colors. Built a deck on the second story, and replaced a couple exterior doors. So that's done now. I can start getting back to some sort of normalcy in my life. Well my life isn't normal, but my normal chaos is really what I mean. So now I'm dealing with a freaking heat wave. Was 108-110 yesterday, today supposed to be hotter and tomorrow too. So I'm not sure we'll see any relief until the end of the week or so. So that's making it hard to get outside at all. Remember I'm fat, so I melt in the extreme heat! So anyway, the great part of the job is I just paid off credit cards. That's a huge relief. But that got me to thinking about a few things I had decided not to do because of money. Well now I can do them, and now I have to make some adjustments. I had to make some adjustments to the enclosure anyway, but I'm going to have to make more. I may in fact have to basically rebuild the front end of the enclosure, or part 1 if you want to be technical. I'm speaking with a few people to see if it's a big deal with the space loss, if I'll have to basically rebuild the whole thing. But I'm certainly hoping that's not the case. I'll get back soon with updates, I swear it. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
