Thanks Trev. I alwayd appreciate your comments. So it looks like there isn't gonna be much in the next few days. Today I just am not gonna have time, I might tomorrow cause I pick my kids up, but its supposed to rain for the next few days after that. I have to get my areas around the shop ready for the rainy season.

Harbor freight has a canopy that's 10' x 20' that I'm considering for in front of the shop. I could park at the end of it and use the rest for working. But its $100 and for every dollar I spend its money away from getting the rest of the batteries. So I have to figure out what I want to do.

I have 4, I needed 2 more. I was going to try and fit 4 on each side, but I'm not seeing that happen. So I stuck with 6 for now. I ordered the last 2 the other day. So I'll be running 6 XS Power XP950's in the rear, and an XS Power D4700 up front with a Singer 185A H/O alt. That'll be my power unless I can figure out how to get another battery in there.

I have been nailing down the design. Trying at least.

You guys saw the trunk lid design. That'll be fairly straight forward. I just need to get the amp mount done, and then I can do a trim ring and glass a trim panel over it. Running wires will be a chore. But I think in the end it'll be worth it.

The next thing I need to do is an amp rack for the second 1100.4. I went to the rear seat for that because well, basically, I have no more room in the trunk. It's that simple.

So yesterday I came up with is video. This idea which I think is good, neat, and has the wow factor we all look for.

The problem is a couple of things. I've not completely ruled this one out, but I think it's going to be pretty complex to pull off nicely. I have a split seat back with an armrest. The armrest is as deep as the seat. So for me to eliminate that, I'd have a big hole to fill. That's not much of a problem, but it may be a problem still. The second part is, if I remove the armrest, I'd have a big hole to fill up front.

Connecting the seats isn't a problem. It's actually not much of a problem at all. However, I'm wanting to hollow them out, and make it one big compartment. I'm not sure how doable that is and how much work that's actually going to be.

Then I thought I could have it re upholstered. But I'm guessing that's going to be expensive.

So I looked around and found a place that has a civic seat for me, that's fully one piece, and only $100. So I'm going to go pick that up today. This will help me with making this amp rack easier. I have a couple of options. The option of the video, which I still think is pretty cool if I can pull it off. Or the other option is, I can put the 1100 in there and slide it over and also fit the 3sixty in there. Do I nice trim ring around it with plexi on top and maybe some leds.

So have some decisions to make.

I did come to work today to a couple of things. Got the nutsert tool. Also got the other actuator, which was originally for the trunk. I have the modules coming in for the trunk also, so I can make it work with the key fob.

Things are going to really be moving here very soon.

That's all. Just a little update.

Just thought I'd share this before heading off to dinner with the fam. Not much of an update, but I feel GREAT about this one! Check it out!

How did you get the amp to stay on the trunk lid???

Hey guys, here's the new UBL link. I thought the other one was getting too cluttered. Once I get this build's info transferred into this new one, I'll stay on track. The others are linked in my signature, at the very bottom, so you can find those if you want to see them.

Hopefully I can get back to it soon.
