Yea your right, I just wanted people in here to know it is possible to get a good hair trick from one 15 in a trunk build....In a regular truck cab it would be easy lol. slowfkncar
you need to have an atleast 80% deadened and sealed vehicle for just one 15 ,the less cabin area you give your subwoofer(sealed off from trunk),the more potential it has to move air. Once that's done, you can start playing with power, port area, cabin gain & enclosure size. It honestly makes things much easier if you deaden & seal your car first. Then comes trial & error. I can nearly get my 15 nigtshade to move air, maily because of my 18sq inch per cu.ft @ 40hz with a net of 2.2 and port vol near 1cu.ft. aslo a crappy brz1700. Next build consist of 7 cubes gross ,2 cu.ft of port volume at 30hz,forward firing & a rubi2500. Hopefully I will be able to pull a small trick from my trunk setup
LBM
Ya that can be done !!! Nothing great but still can be considered as a good hair trick !!!
