RodeoSport
Hi I was wondering if it is possible to move enough air with a single 15inch Fi N2 BTL? Are Band-pass enclosures better or ported? It will be going in a mid size SUV and can give it around 4Kw of power. Thanks
tacomaguy1
yes, it won't be a huge one but if the enclosure is done properly it should move some air Team Flex Issues
the_garynator
it's possible, but you'd probably have to do a lot of testing. Hair tricks (anything more than just a little hair flopping around, i.e. what you see in videos) on a single 15 isn't easy. RodeoSport
you posted this in the ground pounding section, how is a small hair trick with a single 15 a ground pounder? Im sorry, I had more than one tab when i created the thread. Mods could you please move this to the appropriate section. it's possible, but you'd probably have to do a lot of testing. Yeah I realized i wouldnt be able to do anything crazy like in all the videos on youtube.... Do you feel a Ported or Bandpass enclosure would be better? I was able to get a small hair trick off of my 15" M1 Level 5 on an AP30001D in a box tuned to about 36hz...it was by no means anything impressive, but I have seen a couple of decent hair tricks off of similar cone surface area, but those builds have a lot of time into them. It would be a lot easier if you ran 2 15s or 2 18s though. Just got 1 in, will have to wait for a while before I can get another one.
