sprkn_ranger Posted December 4, 2012 Report Share Posted December 4, 2012 My brother just bought a 2003 explorer and it has a clarion max385vd and he wants to bypass the parking brake safety. Last time I did that on a headunit, I just grounded the wire that was supposed to go to the parking brake, but I'm sure things have changed since then. So what needs to be done? Oh and he said that setting the parking brake won't allow playback on the deck but the rear screen will play, so I'm assuming the parking brake wire isn't hooked up at all right now. Thanks guys.
