i cant speak for your situation but i can say thati had a similar problem with my box when my port was side firing straight into the trunk wall when i angled the box so the port fired into the wheel well it definitely sounded better

I feel like this is a question that may best be answered my a certain former forum member who was a fan of 12'' cvx's (lol sorry it was just too hard to resist)

Yes. I gave a little over 15in squared per square foot and then typed it into a port calculator and it said it was at 45 hz.... So I changed it to about 12 and it sounds way better. But I'm just not getting that air flow. I cant download torres cuz I have a mac. I wish someone could do it for me
