Raptorman
It's guaranteed you won't get all 1.7k, but it's nothing to worry about. Just make sure to do the big 3 upgrade. And if you can, upgrade your battery if you already haven't. 1996 GMC Sonoma Four Fi BTL Neo 18's In 2:1 6th Order Bandpass 2 Ampere 5k's @ .5 TEAM FI TEAM #LITHIUMCANTDEMO On 10/20/2013 at 0:37 AM, KillaCam said: Fucking with a Prius driver is like making fun of a disabled kid. adam6604
the brutus series do rated power, but with impedance rise/box rise etc, you wont really see the full power.. but on paper I believe the amp itself puts out the power. Realistically when playing music the subs wont see full power. if you know what I mean. Driving my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 MEGA cab with the 5.7 hemi. CleanSierra
More KNU CCA for the Big3 and a Group 31 battery in the trunk and you'll be all set. Those Skars should get disgustingly low and loud in that car. I hope whoever is building your sub box knows what they're doing! Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you. Team Maxxsonics John
If the subs are DVC 4-Ohms (you didn't specify), you will of course wire them parallel to 1-Ohm but will likely measure .7 to .8-Ohms at the amp so on the math side you are at 1700 watts but again and as mentioned above by others, box rise will affect the impedance at the amp but the amps are typically 35 to 55 watts over 1700 so you can expect as close to 1700 watts as you are going get.
