Ok i have a 02 extended cab silverado and i had a custom box built for 2 sundown sa8v2's front facing and aero port on the side I'm thinking of maybe getting 2 more.. Is there a formula so i can find out what the volume of the box is? Because the box has 2 different heights the back is 7inches and front is 10inches how do i calculate the box volume? Can i still go ported or would i need to go sealed if put in 2 more sa8v2's

basic math l x w x h basically take the box and divide it into sections you know the formula for to solve for area then add all the sections together and bam you have the volume

:discostu:

And then he didn't listen,

No, it's not W*L*H1*H2.

He said: W*L*H1 .. + W*L*H2 ..

And there is a product on here that you can use to determine volume >.>

Is that being sold yet?

in a million, trillion, kabillion years,i would never play that song in my ride. I don't care if its clipped or not LOL. I feel like my nads got clipped after playing this for 15 seconds just to see what it was LOL.

That's not exactly what he said and if he did say it he didn't say it in a way for someone with less knowledge than others (me) that's the whole point of me asking because I don't know how to do it.. And maybe if guys like u didn't act like everyone should know what u know maybe they would be respected alot more.. I wouldn't be asking if I knew how..

i'm more concerened with the fact that your first post implies that you want to add 2 more subs to a box that was "custom built" for 2 .

no bueno.
