But is it okay to have 2 + runs to the back and only 1 - run to the back if the back batteries are also grounded the the frame? Just wanna know how much more wire I need to buy. Real96SS Posted December 9, 2012 Report Posted December 9, 2012 If that stinger wire is OFC and your sig is right with you only running a 270amp alternator, then you really have no use of a second run of positive or negative. I think OFC is rated up too 350amps which means that you only need that one run. This is also based on you still having the mustang which means a short run also.
