willwork4beer Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Anyone know how well the E Series handles power? To me it seems a little too much, but I know these subs can take some punishment from what I've seen.
TheNewbie Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Daily.. No. I'm sure for a short amount ofntime it could but why you want to and void your warranty... Check out my build log: http://www.stevemead...60#entry1958353 Different folks have different strokes.
Truconcept Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 Anyone know how well the E Series handles power? To me it seems a little too much, but I know these subs can take some punishment from what I've seen. did you just ask and answer your own question? id say with 12mm xmax that i would upgrade if your pushing 1krms thats just my noob opinion **actin bad like a kid at six flags**
soundstream15 Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 The sa's will handle that power but the E series won't take that daily. 2 of those on 1000rms will be perfect but you cause probs running 1 What do you plan on doing
TigerTony Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 i don't think so. I had a E15 and it felt a little warm some times after certain songs with about 600 rms daily.
Omega5002 Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 SA 15 would probably be better on 1k, or a pair of E's 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
SnowDrifter Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 SA could take that if it's clean. The E series, not so much You could always get the NS or wait for the X ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

iKidwell Posted December 10, 2012 Report Posted December 10, 2012 I've got 2 e12's on an apsm1500 and I'm pretty sure they could take more if needed.. c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress
