rocketboy1000rr
I meant to ask, roughly how much space were you able to manage internally? It's pretty damn close to 36 cubic ft. after displacement of eveything. I have checked out tuned on this and it's right at 32 Hz. so all of the planning and prep. work payed off! I've had the SMD's in 4.5, 5.25, 5.5, and now 6 cubic ft. per sub and so far they really like 6 ft. each

rocketboy1000rr
Build quality goes without saying. lol What im having trouble figuring out is the amplifier situation. I may have missed it, but do you just have the two pairs strapped running three subs per strapped pair? Thank You, and yes.. I have a pair of 9k's strapped to 3 18's, with my 18's being dual 1.4's... wiring each sub in series(2.8 ohms) and then running all three in parallel(.93ohms) to the amps. this gives me a final nominal load of .93 ohms on each pair of 9k's strapped = just under .5 ohms per amp. My system rises up to around 1.6-1.8 ohms reactive per amp, so I'm gettin' around 24-26,000 rms watts of power out of the amps...and everything is running very smoothly. So I am basically running this system on a touch under 4 ohms BUT... I have lots to do on my wall to get the rise down and the power up and I also have a few more ideas to get more power outta' this... I just gotta get my ass in gear and get it done
