Skrilla Posted December 13, 2012 Report Posted December 13, 2012 So I've started my build. here's what I got- Pioneer P8400- (2) AQTS6.5- (2) HDC318- AQ 2200D- AQ 120.4- (3) Deka Intimidator 34M (Plus front batt)- Knu wire, RCA, etc.I'm going to try something different with the box. I was going to do the typical subs firing forward, port up, but thought I might try something else.Instead, I'll be doing subs/port all firing up towards the roof, with the subs inverted (I can mount them normal as well).I'll be building a different box after I get done with this one with subs forward, port up, see which I like better, than rebuild it double baffled with baltic bitch.So here is how the layout will be. NOTE: The 2nd 2200D was Photoshopped in there. I will eventually get a second one.The box is angled with the front seatsAfter using a circle jig to cut my sub holes, I find out they're too small. AQ's site says the cutout is 16.5" when it's actually 16.750" :angry22:So I screwed a 2x4 in place, than I screwed the old cutout to the 2x4 to get my pivot hole in the same place and it worked.1" Dowels for bracing^As you can see, I missed a total of five screws out of about 200 I still have a lot more to do...I slapped this together for the batts. They will go in the bed. I think I'm going to rhino line it...My brother stopped by, drank all my kool-aid, took some pictures, and didn't even help. lol 2 HDC3 18's AQ2200D

This port will be tuned at about 32-33hz I filled in and sanded the corners with bondo Filled most of the hols in the box. I still have more to do. T-Nuts for the port. I love these things Laid some resin to seal everything up. And my helper for today 2 HDC3 18's AQ2200D

It was raining, super cold, and I freaked out (That's not suppose to happen in AZ) LOL... Anyways, it was nice out today, and I got some stuff done. Battery bus bars I sprayed rubberized bedliner and mounted the battery box I installed a tonneau cover on the truck Almost finished laying all the resin. I only have one side left I did some more sanding on the box. I also soldiered and ran some ground wire. They're grounded to the frame. 2 HDC3 18's AQ2200D

Nice work! if you put a DD-1 in your amp terminal and it immediately went up in smoke, i would be concerned. If you shoved your dick in the terminal and it didn't blow up but a month later it blew up, i STILL WOULDN'T be able to blame your dick. It just does not make sense at all.
