I stick it on the outside of my semi truck and with rain/snow/ bumps never fell off. for real bro - i got one and i was so confident in it i went to 100+ on the first test drive, while it was on the roof. Its a nice feature especially if it is mounted outside and you are driving. Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it.
