Box lettering

you want raised lettering under the carpet/vinyl correct?....if so you should cut out the lettering on 1/4" wood, don't think it would matter what type since its just for looks, and apply it to the box...then wrap the box starting with the lettering first and working out from there..

I have only wrapped with carpet, not experience with vinyl yet but I have read it is less forgiving and harder to manipulate than carpet if that helps at all

I just made an enlarged copy with my printer and then traced it onto the wood, cut it out with a jigsaw and sanded the edges, attached it to the box and then wrapped it...

depending on how much detail the letters or logo your trying to do has could complicate things...making it larger will help a bit but you wont know til you try...lol

you could always buy a roll of carpet at the auto parts store for like $10 and practice on a couple pieces of wood before trying it on your box...to get the feeling and figure out the best ways to get the material tight around the letters
