I tried to get a table a few years ago at the gun show to sell "safe sell" packets. Copy driver's license, record serial numbers, and price and keep permanent records to protect both parties. When I called to get the table, they said "are you nuts?"

It was just a goofy idea I came up with to make my next hundred dollars with a laptop, scanner, printer and database.

Now I could actually see something like this along with a background check become mandatory, with stiff penalties for non-compliance.

I just saw a post on facebook about a gun store encouraging teachers and school staff to purchase a handgun and they would be given $100 coupon to pay for ccw class

Not fun fact: Did you know, the only theater that had a sign posted as a "Gun Free Zone" was the Cinemark in Aurora that was shot up? There were closer, further, smaller, and larger theaters within a 20 minute drive of the shooter, however, this was the only one with a gun free zone......

Exactly, why would he go to another theater where he could be shot by someone with a ccw. By making it a gun free zone they made it the perfect opportunity for the sick fucker to carry out his plan.

I would definitely be willing to train, qualify and certify any teacher / principal who was serious about getting a Ohio ccw permit for free. pm me if you know anyone.
