so whats the big difference i see the meters hitting the same i know you can edit both of them i dont know by how far on TL but AC you can edit +-3 db

the termlab is a pressure sensor. the AC is a microphone. you can not edit the termlab without it showing up in allt he results you do. Ive seen the ac tweaked easily. It also does not hold its true zero very well. Once its been blasted with a loud run it tends to start being inaccurate where as the termlab retains its accuracies. NASA uses the termlab. That should tell you something about its consistency.

i didnt watch the video. but if you did 100 runs with the possibility of turning the exact same reading with the termlab it will be accurate 100 times. so if you haev a device that can do 125 dbs every time you push a button you'll get that 125. the AC will be 124.8 15.1 etc. Some are tighter than others to start but they require calibration frequently. For the cost there is no reason to not get a termlab. Its the official meter of almost all associations. You will have some folks say that between meters they are off .1 or so but those case are rare and its tough to say what causes them.

kno i know what your saying but everyone just says nasa uses it nasa could have used it once and said it was garbage they use some much stuff there and change things so much its not funny
