SSD 12's start at $204 vs the Q12's at $284. Fully loaded, 2 SSD's are $460; 2 Q's are $670. For a daily driver setup that is geared more toward playing all sorts of music, SSD series is perfect. If you want badass lowend response, then the Q's are your best bet. BUT, it'll take ~3 weeks to get your subs It took me 23 days to get just one. Truconcept Posted January 2, 2013 Author Report Posted January 2, 2013 ive read in some other forums about the ssd not hitting lows loud very well how low are they talkin? if i could play any decaf without a problem id be happy im not gonna be dropping rack city down to 20hz and i listen 2 alot of mixtapes where some tracks are naturally clipped i dont want 2 blow a ssd on accident where as i think the Q could handle the inevitable noob abuse better im looking at some of these subwoofer spec and i have no clue what any of them mean or do or how they relate 2 eachother like what is: mechanical Q (Qms) electromagnetic Q (Qes) resonant frequency (Fs) **actin bad like a kid at six flags**
Beanz Posted January 2, 2013 Report Posted January 2, 2013 My buddy has 2 15s SSD in a Cadillac Escadle EXT and those fuckers get down...THe lows are okay but its cause we have not sealed it up from the cargo area. but im sure since your putting them in a trunk they will get on the lows just have to get a lower tuning on your box,. That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do.
