Recommended Posts

the choices are between the two, i dont like the strokers. they are power hungry fart cans IMO.

I've heard my friend's Dual 12'' Cerwin Vega 12 vmax in his Honda Civic.

Let me tell you, those subs hit probably 4 times harder than my dual 12'' edesignaudio.com 13kv's.

I have also listened to a pair of Rockford Fosgate HX2 12'' strapped on a Nine.1 amp and I'll have to say the Cerwin Vegas hit probably 2 times harder than what I was hearing.

Now for sound quality...

Cerwin vegas vmax hit hard but after a while I was getting tired of the bass because everynote had a goddamn bass lol.

The sound quality on my dual eD 13kv's are probably 5 times cleaner than the cerwin vega vmaxs'.

I have a question. Can anyone tell me if the sound quality of the Fi BTL is worst than the cerwin vega?

I"ve already been through the "SQ" thing with my eD. I'm kinda wanting to try a new setup with a lot of bass just so I can have some experience.

I'm thinking about the daily 15'' Fi BTL but how does it compare to a Cerwin Vega?

I heard SQ wise, Kicker l7 > type-r > fi BTL

From what I've heard, kicker l7 sounds like "plastic".

How does Cerwin vega sound compared to a kicker l7 SQ wise?

(hmm. I probably should have started a new topic for the bottom half of this post. my bad ><)

alright i have also been looking at some other 15" subs, i prefer dual subwoofer setups over single. so i would like to go with either 2 15" or 4 12" subs. i also looked at the new rockford p3 15", i would get two. i cannot afford to spend more then $140 per sub. so around $300 for either two 15" or four 12". if i went cone area i could put like 8 12" p1's lol. so what should i get? i want loud, i have two hatchbacks. a 1990 toyota celica gt and also a 1993 ford probe, whichever one i get running first is what they will be going in. im selling all of my other audio equiptment to buy new so what do ya think? any other subs out there in my pricerange? i want loud!

Well until money permits I would go with a single 15
