2 sa 12s need to find a good amp to push them had a mtx 81000d on them but wasn't happy

Any Korean 2k will do, you'll notice many around here swinging from the nuts of various manufacturers of such amps, they are all pretty good for the most part.

that amp makes 500 @ 4ohm, 1k @ 2ohm

they should go pretty dam good at

idd say the problem isnt with the amp, its the wiring/coil config, and box

sort that out first, post some info on both

then and only then blame the amp

Sundown audio 1500 or a 2500 will be fine on a pair of Sa 12's

Any of the saz amps 1500 and up, of course only if you can supply the juice

I will have mine on an SAZ 2000D at 1 ohm. It puts out roughly 2.5k. I'd suggest a 1500 amp for you.
