SnowDrifter Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 Well first off: I have DDM tuning 55w ballasts and relay And I have TRS projectors and bulbs I'm running into an issue where if I turn on my fog lights and flash/turn on my high beams, they don't turn off until I turn the fog lights off. They work fine with my fog lights off though. DDM wasn't very helpful in resolving the issue (I had the same problem with their bulbs in stock housing too). They suggested plugging one of my stock headlight bulbs into the unused socket to put a load on the system and it didn't make a difference. kl0wn Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 I did this to my Explorer on purpose. I opened up my fog lights relay, rewired it, and rewired my fogs to my highs and threw a switch in. Only lasted me about a year,was going down the interstate around 2am one night, and boom; everything went black. Fogs/highs got fried, lows still worked luckily. I was just throwing my own experience with doing this on purpose. I have no idea really on how it just "happened" to you. r1c3r Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 try turning on your foglights (with just low beam on). does it suddenly switch to high beams? if you're anywhere near san jose, ca i'd be happy to take a look at it.

r1c3r Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 are you sure it's now one of those cars that you pull half way in to flash and then whole way to keep high beams on? like an rx-7?
