Hey guys, well as sad as this night be I think I'm a tad bit confused on how to install this.. Not the power and ground but rather cutting the right size hole in my dash to fit the volt meter perfectly. I dremled and sanded this one until it fit, but even so I have this small crack on the side which bugs the hell outta me.. So ill most likely buy a bigger meter and try again.. Regardless what can I do to prevent this from happening?.. Different method I suppose.

(It's more noticeable in person) any suggestions would be appreciated.

you have to mold it in. cutting a hole is never going to look perfect if it doesnt have a bezel to overlap your cut marks.

Suppose ill have to learn how to mold then, thank you. This one does have a small bezel but obviously not big enough. I appreciate the input.

Dremel, with the drill if that makes sense.. Kinda spacey today can't think of the exact term.. Also Detroit, I tried that brotha it was decent but I'm still trying to make it better than what above. I need to buy another meter that's a tad bit bigger so the crack will go away, the. Ill practice molding on some other pieces.

Hey n8, do you happen to have any pictures of the meter molded in? Tried a google search and didnt find anything useful.

Edit: Got one, https://www.google.com/search?q=molded+volt+meter&hl=en&client=safari&tbo=d&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=BYrsUKegKoj3igL5iIDYCg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=320&bih=416#i=24 now time to learn.
