Gonna do xs battery under the hood and one in the trunk as well. Wondering which would be my louder setup either 3 level 4 10s or 2 Xl 12's Quote

CJ18 Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 I would take the pair of XL 12s on the power you have. 3 Level 4s will be begging for more. The XLs will still want more power, but I think they will be your best option. Plus I like things to be even. Seeing 3 subs would mess with my head. andrewu750 Posted January 10, 2013 Author Report Posted January 10, 2013 Yea I was thinking I would be lacking power for either one. But I was thinking I could eventually upgrade to a 5k. I am very limited on space. I'm not looking to do any competing or anything just want it to be loud. I have a dc dealer right around the corner here so I'll be ordering them tomorrow just trying to decide which way to go. I was leaning towards the 10s cause it would be more cone area so I thought it may be louder Quote
mw02civic Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 It would be more cone area with the 10s but like, cj said, with that amount of power your best bet would probably be the 12s. Also like what NamesJeff said, sealed off from the trunk if possible. Quote
