Mobileaudio25 Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 I have 2 brz1200.1D's that I've used my DD-1 distortion detector to set and I want to gain match the amps because each amp is pushing 1 sub in a 2 shared chamber ported box. When I set everything flat and play a test tone from YouTube on my iPod and connect the + to the + speaker output and the - with the - output I can't get an ac reading at all... Any ideas ?

soundstream15 Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 You have to turn the lpf all the way up when using the dd-1 And may I ask why 60hz? That's to damn high. Use 40hz. YouTube is terrible bc it's normally boosted to shit and crappy files. Kylar will explain more about that
Mobileaudio25 Posted January 10, 2013 Author Report Posted January 10, 2013 Yeah I was using the 40hz for the dd-1 ... i know how to properly use that...but I've read online use a 50hz or 60hz test tone to gain match... I just want to make sure they are putting out the same amount of power with the 2 amps one on each sub in an open chamber ported box... I'll wait for further explanation
