kaydennicholson
I have running 2 re audio SE-X 12s on a pdx1000 and have a hifonics BRZ2400 on its way. THIS IS WHAT I NEED TO KNOW will going from the two RE SE-X 12s to two Sundown SA12s make much difference? a noticeable difference? how noticeable? I have posted like 3 threads with this question but everyone answers everything but that!! Is it worth switching the subs? and why partial answers are better than no answers! any help is greatly appreciated and i will be getting a custom built box for them as well

iKidwell
i personally think that in the right box the sa-12's have the potential to get louder, and I'd say that you'd be a little safer running the sa's on that 2400 compared to the se-x's on it. But this is somewhat a vs thread and will potentially get locked. c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress
Raptorman
The SA's will be louder, but I don't know if it will justify shelling out to buy totally new subs. I would probably just keep the RE's (On my income) If money wasn't an issue, I would absolutely swap subs. 1996 GMC Sonoma Four Fi BTL Neo 18's In 2:1 6th Order Bandpass 2 Ampere 5k's @ .5 TEAM FI TEAM #LITHIUMCANTDEMO On 10/20/2013 at 0:37 AM, KillaCam said: Fucking with a Prius driver is like making fun of a disabled kid. kaydennicholson
ahhhh decisions decisions... ): I was told the JL w6s and my RE SEXs would be like apples and oranges meaning a huge difference but ive had JL before and are over priced and would seem the SA12s would be about the same as a w6.... just wish i could hear the difference... Raptorman
Not so sure, I can't say until it's actually done, too many variables. Spencer Good
Those SEx's will NOT handle that much power.. I had mine on just 1400 and blew one of them in about two weeks. The SEx's are from the new era of the Chinese made RE audio products. These absolutely cannot be compared to the SE's. 2012 TORed Challenger 4 Alpine Type-R 10 1 Brutus 2400.1 20' Knu 1/0 OFC 1 XS Power D1200
john253a
if you looking at a new setup why not bigger or more? thats how you get louder, unless you doubling the power, and what u have can take it
