The Yukon's Old Setup

Recommended Posts

Oh yeah they some bad boys for sure, mine only had 875RMS, and I could be heard 2 miles away, no where near moving to full X-mas. But they damn sure quaked by in the day. When they were first put in, I couldn't hardly breathe, no one around could really take it, they always had their hands over their ears, I was pride though. I mite just buy to more till my big stuff comes, and start doing demo's again. I use to love scaring people. It was loud that's for damn sure.

a little exaggeration?

No sense in being an ass there buddy, but it is in fact true, the 15's carried for quiet a ways. I let one of my buddies drive the Yukon up to a store up the road (we out in the country) the store was over two miles away, I heard it the whole time he was gone besides when he cut the car off to go in the store. It's not all in what you've got ever either it's what it's in. And that's all the 15's did was drop. It made a 24Hz tone sound like a 32Hz tone.

Well I have no reason to lie, if the nature air is the right temp waves can carry pretty far, mostly near dusk to dark. When the air is thin it makes the waves able to carry more footage. A longer carry per throw. It's not to hard to believe, unreal may be the the word. But I speak the truth. Believing it or not is your choice.

I have some video's of them, the camera's sound is so shity. I've been using my cousin's cam for my demo's of the little setup I installed. Great sound on them, I'll post some pictures of it too. Mostly still the test phase with that, since I really don't give a shit what it looks like. But I'll finish it here soon. I installed a demo system to show others what I can do with the smallest of systems. It contains one 2004 Kicker L5 D4 and my old KX1200.1 @ 2 ohms, tested @ 896 RMS, and a 4.6890 cbft box tuned @ 31Hz. I've went up agaisnt two 15's in a HondaCivic / 6 10's in a Jeep Chereke** (cheaper speakers) / and two 12's in a Jeep Chereke**. Won all those dB battles and finally lost to 3 12" Audiobahns in a Chevy TrailBrazer (a system which I built as well) I'll post some pics of that system as well. All soon to come.
