Torres Posted January 31, 2008 Report Posted January 31, 2008 ok so yeah...my heater in my explorer quit workin. i wanna say i dont think it's actually *broken*, cuz it was going strong one day then i start it the next, and it wasnt blowing warm air. i turned one of the knobs or somethin, then warm air kicked on like a switch. now...it's not working again, and i messed with it all and still nothin. cd player is out and i'm tryin to take out the hvac controls but cant find my sockets lol. any ideas to the problem? it's cold driving in 16 degree weather Quote

Torres Posted January 31, 2008 Author Report Posted January 31, 2008 ok so i went out there...and i notice a puddle under my driver side. kinda by the front wheel well. i'm like hm wtf. turns out there has been a leak. under my floor mat is SOAKED! solid ice right now. my mat was frozen to the floor too. any ideas? does this sound like a heater core problem?
