dkindle613 Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 So i got a iphone 4 for free from my moms coworker. She said the phone worked fine about 7 months ago. But when i got it, it will not turn on unless it ia plugged into the wall, or a laptop. and when it does turn on it shows the connect to itunes image. And thats it. I tried doing a hard reset through itunes. But i get an error message.. And it can not be restored... Any ideas guys??? dkindle613 Posted January 16, 2013 Author Report Posted January 16, 2013 Well would that make it so the phone is not restoreable?? Ryya Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 It's probably a bad battery. If it is out of warranty then order up a new battery and replace it yourself. It's only 3 screws it's super easy. http://www.ifixit.co... Battery/3141/1 Maybe it is only showing connect icon because it has no sim card or it is deactivated? dkindle613 Posted January 16, 2013 Author Report Posted January 16, 2013 Even if it had no sim card, or been deactivated. Would it still only show the connect to itunes logo?
