djscrappydee
Help guys I was just playing my subs normal like I always do and I went and turned down the subwoofer level down on my radio and I turned it back up they made this scrapping/knocking noise when it was turned up half way. I took the subs out and looked at it nothing looked bad. Pressed down and it wasn't scrubbing. Didnt smell bad or anything. I free aired both of them and nothing sounded bad. I checked the box looked normal for what I seen. Wtf could it be? Help please (subs are 2 sa-12s on crescendo 2000) (2) PSI p2 18's Crescendo 2000 Audio Technix 0 gauge/ SHCA 0 gauge Pioneer AVH-P2400BT yellow top optima big 3 . xs batt. djscrappydee
I took all the wire out and was so cold I didn't hook it back up ill wire it up tomorrow and make a vid. Best way I could explain the sound was like something was slapping the inside of my box but it wasn't. Could they be blown? Hellbilly429
Did you check the box to make sure something didn't come loose? I've had those plastic speaker terminal cups crack on me before and make an awful noise 2018 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback (build in progress) NVX Sound Deadener (Front Doors) Stinger FAST Rings Stock Electrical SSA Evil 6.5's Front Speakers Stock rear speakers MB Quart ONX4.80 speaker amp Rockford Fosgate T-1500bdcp DC Level 4 12" D1 @ 2-ohm Box In Design Stage Stock RadioMy Build Log

Hellbilly429
Do you have a multimeter? Check the resistance of the coils, if any of them are a significant amount off on resistance from what Sundown says they should be then chances are that coil is blown. Would be a good way to rule out a blown coil though. 2018 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback (build in progress) NVX Sound Deadener (Front Doors) Stinger FAST Rings Stock Electrical SSA Evil 6.5's Front Speakers Stock rear speakers MB Quart ONX4.80 speaker amp Rockford Fosgate T-1500bdcp DC Level 4 12" D1 @ 2-ohm Box In Design Stage Stock RadioMy Build Log
