FoRgIvEn Posted January 19, 2013 Report Posted January 19, 2013 i was going to order a BC2000D went to check on total price and seen they went up to 480.00 i thought of getting the ap3000.1d and got recomended to het the aqx3500.1d then i thought about getting 2 ap1800d's and was told i could get a bc2000d for the same price as the 2 ap1800's and it would be better quality now im back to what amp/amps can i get in the 400.00 range at .5-1ohm
CleanSierra Posted January 19, 2013 Report Posted January 19, 2013 I'm assuming you have the electrical upgrades to SUPPORT running at .5 ohms? Power isn't cheap, especially good power. I'd almost be more willing to go the Hifonics route with a couple of like BRZ1700s before I'd pay real dollars for AP anything. That is my preference and I know many have success with the Hifonics OVER the AP crap. The AQX are supposedly a better line within the AP stuff, so it MAY be a viable option for you. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
FoRgIvEn Posted January 19, 2013 Author Report Posted January 19, 2013 i have big 3 2 runs of 1/0 from 2 stock 130a alt to 2 stinger batts(in back) and 1 regular everlast n1 underhood I was going to run 1 amp @ .5ohm or 2 amps @ 1ohm

(on there way here) atomic at-3000.1 (soon) 146.2 outlaw @39hz., bad alt an bad batt when termed (old 2 12" build) alpine 6.5s in doors infinty 4x6s in dash. clarion cz201 HU. mechman 240a H/O alt stuff i still need. SHCA 2/0 wire SHCA 1/0 to 2/0 adapters Atomic AT-3000.1 Lots of sound deadner new mids an highs, still debating on what to do. A few Deka g31 batts.

My build 98 s10 2.2 3 american bass HD 15s with psi soft parts. zydrix Posted January 19, 2013 Report Posted January 19, 2013 they are great strong amps from what i have seen, i have seen people take there aq amps through hell an back. an i have seen people wire down to 0.5ohms an below an the amps are ok. i would go for the amp if i were u. best for money out right now, or hit sky high audio up on the forums an see what he can get you a bc2000 or mayb even a dc 2k My build 98 s10 2.2 3 american bass HD 15s with psi soft parts.
