Smelt the port... mmm coils (i think?). So i watched the subs as i played them lightly, and one of the 4 is moving more than the others. Maybe a wire came loose inside? What do you think? p.s. Yes i noticed the amps. I have no explanation. 420c Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 check your ohm reading on your coils and voltage too. if your voltage drops too low your amps will clip and your coils will go after that
420c Posted January 29, 2013 Report Posted January 29, 2013 your batt isolator might make your alternator over work trying to split the charge for regular car use, recharging your rear batts, and keep voltage up for your amps. also on these amps each channel doesnt put out equal power but i wouldnt think it would be off that much. seen someone say they got 9++ on one channel and 8++ on the other so they couldnt run it split to one sub. hope this helps nice work on the build too

Different power both when separated?? That would really suck. Should i just run them bridged? Good link on the alt! Wish i had money for a dd1!! Everything is good now. Huge thanks to Jon at SecondSkin! 32sqft of bstock was the perfect amount and it sounds so good. Time to save for electrical upgrades: dual alt bracket, upgraded alts, another or two optimas because i can fit 2 easily.
