If your gonna keep the 18s you may go 1 18 port up or trade them straight across for 2 15s if you dont want to sell. Ive seen some builds on other sites where guys go all out sealing that back window off before starting the back wall but i cant find the links right now. You have some options but i think you gotta decide what you want out of your system first. You might even find more efficiency out of 12s and more power in that air space either way im tuned in to see what you settle on!

If its a sealed box with both subs in a common chamber check your wiring sounds like you may have some cancellation going on

12 smd 12s in a flat wall or 18 smd 12s in a clam, steel framed glassed front smd style ,rockford bd1500 per coil on 16 volts tuned mid to high 30s on the wall or 1/3 cone area on the clam...60s or better on music haters go home

may not play strong down to 30hz in 1 cube probably decent from 60 up though

I meant more like bringing 30hz from the (-6/-12) slope closer to 0 so its more of a flat response not adding gain (+6db/+12db) from an actual bass boost. It would be to make up from the loss of not going ported because of the space limitations but no worries. I would like to see some picks when done though i told a buddy who has a dodge ram he should do a box like this cause he doesnt want to give up the back seat but still wants to run 1 12.

why not a sealed box with an eq or bass enhancer that boost 30hz to bring up the f3.

that drop off in frequency has something to do with the passband ripple unfortunately i dont know enough to explain it except somtimes you end up with peaks and valleys between upper and lower roll off.

whats up man this is a good point to start for a single 12. from what i noticed from the more advanced members is when you are running more power than rms on ported boxes you shrink the internal box volume a little so the sub can handle the additional power without bottoming out. for a faster response you may want to directly message some of the guys who are on teams/compete as they have the build experience on more boxes or try the chat a lot them hangout there. stay bumpin
