HOW MUCH POWWAAA!?!

Why would .5 be a maybe? My pair are strapped at 1 ohm(.5 per amp) and have no issues.

Now I have to add my disclaimer. Running below 1 ohm will void the factory warranty.

I wasn't questioning the amplifiers ability to handle .5 ohm.

I was questioning his electrical to supply enough current for the amp at .5 ohm due to his alternator being on the small side :)

my alts on the small side?? last time i checked i got the highest amp available but i bought it about a half a year ago :(

im running about 8k on my car with a 270 amp alt (biggest I can get) with less batteries than you mentioned and im fine

This sounds beastly, I wanna hear it when it's done since you're in tucson too :peepwall:

you live in tucson? ill let you know when its done but this is going to be a loooooooong build. im ripping the truck apart and going through everything. it's going to be a show truck after im done! right now im debating parts for my new 454 block or audio parts :'(

Yeah I live way out in bumfuck egypt by Old Tucson lol but can't wait to see how your build turns out. Should be worth the wait, sounds like it's going to be cool as hell already with the DC stuff going in and that new 454!

oh shit hahaha i have cousins out there. im not to far i live in south tucson by pueblo high school. thanks dude my only problem is so much stuff and not enough $! i just got the rotating assembly (eagle forged crank and rods) and that ran me about 2k. but after the bore and hone on the block ittl be a 496 :D
