basshead5280 Posted January 24, 2013 Report Share Posted January 24, 2013 So I have 2 kicker cvrs 15s and have a little hifonics amp on it but my dad said he was going to get me a new amp soon but Im also planning a rebuild with 2 dc level 2 15s so I was thinking of getting a 1.2k and running that on the kickers they are at 2ohms so 700rms to both. They say 1000 for both. So would a dc 1.2k be good for the kickers on 700? I'm going to get the dc subs but he's being dumb saying I don't need them but he doesn't understand the car audio minds.. Lol but no matter what I'm going to get the subs in the coming months If not the dc amp then probably a Rockford 1000.1 which could push the well too. I'm also planning on getting a Rockford 400-4 so they could be matching. If so those kickers ran at 700rms compared to say 1200rms will only give you if any, a slightly louder sound.
