Trey_Dog650
The roof to me just doesn't seem like it would be stable enough unless you did a lot of extra work. I can picture it flapping around everywhere. n8ball2013
the roof is bad for one becasue of flex. You have to weld in a cage basically so the roof doesnt flex. and then you have to make it strong enough to support those amps. Ever dropped a 35 lb chunk of metal on your head? Dont recommend it. After that. you have to redo the entire headliner. Cutting a hole and sticking the amps in isnt going to cut it. Then you have the amps upside down. so all the heat that rises to the area where there is no heatsink and its pretty much attached to your roof. it also puts you into an extreme class if you compete. not to mention how long your wire runs need to be to get into the roofa nd what you have to do to hide them. KillaCam
I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle. And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth..
