What is the difference between the HDC3xx subs and the HDC3xxA subs? (aside from price and the letter A) when I look on the AQ website and click on one of the HDC3 subs it only shows the specs for the HDC3xxA subs. so anyone know what the difference in specs is between them? I'm sure there's gotta be one I highly doubt you're paying an extra $70 per sub for the letter 'A'

Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol

Wrong. The copper versions have shorter coils. And handle less power.

The "A" identifies it as aluminum voice coil, the others are copper coil and the price reflects this. The copper coil is better suited for a sub that will only see daily music, as a copper coil will produce a better sounding output. The alum coil setup is geared more toward us SPL nuts that want the most output possible and loud as possible with increased power handling and efficiency.

oh ok so for me getting the cheaper copper ones would be better cuz while I do like the boom of SPL I am a musician so I want it to sound good too
