boom50cal Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 SSD's and BL's both use 3 inch coils, iirc. SSD's just have a single stack though. I paid 160 for both another question i have is i can tell they where reconed sometime in there life and when i ohm load them all coils say 1.6 is that even a option for the coils? 160 for 1600rms worth of woofers. i'd say its a good deal as long as both are in working condition. 1.6 coils are 2 ohm. so you have d2 woofers, and can only wire to 2 ohm on an amp. or 1 ohm if you get two amps. or 2 ohm if you strap two amps.

SSD's never had a huge ass vent coming out of the bottom of the motor structure though, right? The OLDer ones did. Maybe about, 3 or so uears ago they had a large pole vent, but with the cooling/BP option the pole vent was plugged so it was just an "empty hole" type deal However their newer line up of subs, i think only the X line up has a pole vent now 1998 gmc extd cab 12 crossfire C710s 4 SAZ-4500s 3 Singer 400A altsbuncha mids/highs Team Asshole
