how did you brace you back wall after blow through????

Recommended Posts

My Blow through was built differently than most others ... My double baffle IS my back wall. Not completely finished yet, but does the trick ...

We used 2x4s and fence screws to brace mine down ... If you look losely, the enclosure doesn't touch the bed floor ...

add some 2x4 bracing to the rear wall. a friend of mine used expanding foam between his bed and cab to help reduce movement of the real wall. not sure how well it worked though, would have to find out. i had a blow thru in mine and i drilled screws through the wall and into the box to help stop flex of the rear wall.

i am trying to stay way from having to weld on it or drill through the rear wall. it was my stupid fault for painting the truck before i built the stereo

Doesn't sound like there are too many ways around it without redesigning.

I'm gonna hate
