SnowDrifter
Ground them at the head unit. Also double check all your connections and make sure the RCAs aren't next to the power wire ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

Tarball
so my RCAs are like the hanging kind it has like heat shrink at the bottom where it meets the headunit but i can see the wires in there how do u rewire it I took a length of wire and stripped the insulation off of it and did the same grounding method pictured earlier in this thread but at the end of the RCA "dangle". I used zip ties to hold the stripped wire to the RCA grounds then grounded the end to the HU chassis. This worked for a short time and now the whine is back slightly, gotta get in there is do something better to secure the ground to the RCAs. Maybe a spot of solder on each one with work better.
