roscoe1129 Posted February 2, 2008 Report Share Posted February 2, 2008 (edited) Easy way to check the fuel pump. Take your fuel line off befor the fuel rail to the intake/injectors and have a little cup handy under it. have someone crank the engine a couple times if fuel comes out, pump is fine if not, new pump. If fuel does come out move on to your plugs and see if they are getting spark! Oh yeah another thing about ford fuel pumps if you take a rubber mallet to the tank and smack it a few good times it usually gets them running enough to get to a mechanic or back home.
