Whether that's rebuilding it with Baltic birch , kerfing the port , carpeting the box and staining the port area. Then I also kinda like the idea of making the subs mounting face out of lexan or acrylic. How would you even cut the hole to mount the sub? Does anyone offer such a product? I also looked to someone that fabs up acrylic boxes.. I came across http://www.gatelyaudio.com/ I guess they also make Chicken's Caddy Box? I sent them an email and haven't received a reply. Are they pretty pricey? (not that, that matters LOL) But yeah, do you guy know of anyone that makes anything of the sort?
