purplesyrup
Ok, im a little confused, this head unit im putting in has 1 (one) sub output, so there is a left and right input on the amp, and only 1 (one) plug to plug to in in the head unit, Should I go buy a "Y" connector ? Im confused on this, been a while since I installed a deck and was not expecting to run into an issue like this I am being very specific because I searched the net, and it seemed like all the answers to this, no one understood what he was talking about, and the only answers were, "Just plug them in"

SLAYER1805
So your headunit doesn't have a pair of RCA inputs, just a single input?

stevog
You could get a y but if i understand correctly since a sub is just one speaker you can probably get away with just plugging one rca into the amp since there is no left or right. purplesyrup
here, there is the L and R outputs for the front and rear speakers, and then the black one is the subwoofer out \
purplesyrup
^^^ ok really weird but i stand by my decision get the y connector I think thats the only option, can't be rolling around with half the sound right? but I dont know if that would even make a difference even thought the amp is mono, it still have a L and R input, if one is not used wouldn't it be receiving less of a sound signal? SLAYER1805
You could try out a Y connector like ghostrider said, never seen this before though ....so does that mean power acoustic mono amps have only one input like this? LOL
