So does anyone know the difference anymore between the Kenwood and the Excelon versions anymore is not just the preamps anymore is it

i know that that but what is the difference anymore between the two back in the day you couldnt get a dvd tv system unless you bought excelon all i can see is a preamp difference anymore

excelon has 4/5v preouts and always 3 outputs also 2 year warranty. most allow you to have front hpf and rear hpf and woofer lpf. there are little differences but the preouts and warranty are most noted

I loved the excellon I used to have freaking bad ass, i've owned a lot of CD players, but that really was the key to the whole system. don't know how they add up today though

Preamp and a cleaner signal? I haven't heard of an Excelon unit that clips or distorts at full volume

on the preouts that is. all the excelons i have tested usually clip ~26-28 high level output (speaker outputs)
