heres the dilema, i have a set of Boston Pr 5.5LF woofers, a set of MB Quart woofers, a set of JBL tweeters, a set of MB Quart tweeters, and a set of Polk DB tweeters. All of which were a component set at one time. Problem is i only have the JBL X-overs. Im not worried about the woofers because they will bepoered by channel 1&2 of my Kenwood channel ( 75x4@4 i believe). i an set HPF around 65 and be good there. Problem is the tweeters, i want to run atlest 4 of the 6 i have off of the amp. can i use the JBL x-overs and hook up 2 tweeters per x=over wired to 8ohm? will that run fine without cooking my tweets or x-overs? I plan on adding active x-over system so i can tweak everything before it hits te aps but wanna use what i gave for now too! i will also be adding another 2 channel amp dedicated just to twees and use 2 channels of my 4 channel and makea 3 way front stage.................eventually

im greedy though! 6 tweets and only using 2 is gonna drive me nuts! lol i dont mind the polks running off of the H/U im looking for a 4 way active x-over but prices are crazy. i really wantr one that lets me control both the low and high cut off instead of just the HPF. i might end up building my own because eventually i want a full 3 or 4 way front stage any ideas on a x-over that would fit my plans and NOT cost a small fortune?
